The Salvation Army has been serving the Chico area for more than 130 years — and we’re excited to share with you our new, 18,000-square-foot Community Center! Please join us for a weekend celebration and learn about the many expanded programs we’ll be offering, including our Family Service & Education Office, Youth Enrichment, Senior Programs, Emergency Disaster Services and Sustainable Recovery Programs.

As part of the celebration, we are hosting a Community Open House, which includes the First Annual Chico Community Dodgeball Tournament & Fundraiser. We would love for you to come and have some fun, help us break in the new gym – and help raise money for our Summer Youth programs!

Proceeds from the Dodgeball Tournament & Fundraiser will fund scholarships to send local youth to Camp Del Oro, and also to take part in our new Summer Day Camp. Our goal is to provide low-cost or scholarship opportunities for the families “on the bubble” that we serve through our Family Services & Education Office.
